Folk Music: The Sweet Lowdown
Recently, i really liked folk music. When i did assignments and projects from university lately, folk music have been a great companion that rising my fighting spirit to finish all of that assignments and projects, hho... Folk music is great!!! Everytime when i hear to that music, i feel like i am in a green pastures with some people dancing and playing folk music (it will be really great if it was real... :D).
One of my favorites folk singer/group music is The Sweet Lowdown... The Sweet Lowdown is an old time/roots trio based in Victoria, BC, Canada. The members are Amanda Blied (guitar), Shanti Bremer (banjo), and Miriam Sonstenes (fiddle), three musicians who come together to create music inspired by their love of old time, folk, blues, bluegrass and other forms of roots music. Their music is very beautiful, soulful and sweet... I really love them...
